I’m a mother of two young daughters, and my journey began with a deeply personal intention — to give my children experiences that go beyond the classroom, nurturing confidence, independence, and a broader perspective of the world.
In exploring opportunities for them, I realised that while many programmes existed, very few felt truly thoughtful, personal, and reassuring from a parent’s point of view. That search led to the idea behind First Foray — a platform built on care, trust, and carefully curated global experiences that are as enriching as they are meaningful. I hold undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Delhi and began my career as a Business Analyst before moving into the social sector. After taking time to focus on my family, I returned with a renewed sense of purpose — to build something that reflects both my professional experience and my personal values.

I am an entrepreneur and a parent, building First Foray with a simple belief — that children learn best when they experience the world beyond the classroom. My background lies in running a family business in women’s ethnic wear, where I spent years understanding people, building relationships, and adapting through change.
As a parent, I continue to learn every day — raising a teenager, understanding his world, and navigating the balance between independence and guidance. First Foray is a reflection of this journey — to create meaningful, safe, and enriching experiences that help children grow in confidence, independence, and real-world awareness.
